Do you offer free quotes?
Yes — every quote is free and comes with no obligation. For most jobs we can give you a price over the phone or by email. For larger work like rewires or EV charger installations, we'll arrange a quick free survey first so the price is accurate.
How quickly can you book a job in?
We usually respond to enquiries the same day and can often book work in within a few days. For urgent jobs like fault finding or loss of power, we'll do our best to get to you as quickly as possible.
Do I need to be home during the work?
For most jobs, yes — we'll need access to your property and your consumer unit. We'll agree a time that works for you and let you know roughly how long the job will take so you can plan your day.
Are you NICEIC approved?
Yes — Oakmont Electrical is a NICEIC approved contractor, which means all our work is carried out to the highest industry standards and is fully certified. We're also a Registered Competent Person, authorised to self-certify electrical work under Building Regulations.
