Work Carried Out
We completed a unique EV charger installation for a customer who wanted to upgrade from their existing 3.5kW plug-in car charger to a faster 7.4kW Ohme Home Pro charger. There was already a metal frame cemented into the ground, so we fitted a treated timber support to the existing framework, allowing the new charger to be securely mounted. This gave the installation a neat, practical finish while also helping it sit nicely within the surrounding countryside setting.
Work Carried Out
We installed a 7.4kW EVEC electric car charger for a customer in Maghull, along with the required consumer unit upgrade. Due to limited space in the existing consumer unit, we fitted a separate 32A BD RCBO fuse box next to it. This gave the new EV charger its own suitable protection and allowed the installation to be completed safely and neatly.

The Zappi GLO is designed to work with solar panels and battery storage, making it a great option for customers who either already have renewable energy at home or may be considering it in the future. Alongside its smart charging features, the charger also has a clean, stylish design, giving the customer a practical and tidy installation that looks good on the property.

We installed another SYNC Energy 7kW EV charger for a customer looking for a reliable and easy-to-use home charging setup. SYNC chargers are a solid choice for domestic EV charging, offering a simple app that is straightforward for customers to manage day to day. The charger is also compatible with all energy providers, giving the customer flexibility if they ever switch tariffs or suppliers in the future. This installation provided a neat, practical charging solution that is ready for everyday use and makes home EV charging simple.

We installed a 7.5kW Sync EV charger for a customer who had their VW ID.5 ready and waiting to plug in. With second-hand electric vehicles becoming more affordable and cheaper overnight charging tariffs now available through energy suppliers such as Octopus, having a home EV charger fitted is becoming a very practical option for many households. This installation gave the customer a convenient charging point at home, ready to make the most of lower-cost nighttime charging.
